What should I bring to my session?

When will my newborn session take place?

I provide everything needed for a great newborn session. You don't need to bring anything but yourselves! However, you are welcome to bring 1-3 personal props, if you like. This isn't required, though.

For milestone sessions, you'll need to provide the outfits you would like your child in, and we'll discuss any additional props for the session and make a plan.

For best results, newborn sessions should take place within 5-14 days after birth. After you purchase, you'll be added to my reservation list. I ask that you shoot me a text the day you deliver or the next day and we'll get your session scheduled!

If you have an extended hospital stay, don't worry! I can accommodate.

Can I/my husband/my kids/grandparents join in on the session?

Why are newborn sessions so long ?

I allow for 2 hours to have plenty of time for baby to eat, be changed and get settled into a nice sleep.

I strive for a relaxed and calming atmosphere at my newborn sessions, so you won't ever feel rushed.

You and baby's siblings are welcome to join in for the newborn and first birthday sessions. I've built in plenty of time for that!

I ask that if you would like family photos during your sitter session that we book some additional time.
